About the meeting: Twice annually (Spring and Fall), the Partnership holds a Partnership-wide meeting in which all partners and interested parties are invited to come together and build relationships and collaborations.
These meetings are a chance to:
– Connect or reconnect with the Partnership, learning more about the initiative and on-going projects;
– Build and strengthen a network amongst organizations working throughout the region;
– Spark conversation and collaboration across political and sectorial boundaries;
– Help partners understand opportunities to engage in the on-going work of the Partnership;
and allow partners to help define the direction of the Partnership.
Due to Governor Wolf’s “stay at home” orders, we will be meeting virtually this time around. Everyone must register at https://southmountainpartnership-spring-meeting-2020.eventbrite.com. Log-on details will be emailed a few days prior to the event to everyone who registers.
Welcome: York County Commissioners will welcome participants, followed by an update from Katie Hess.
York County Open Space and Land Protection Fund: members of the committee will discuss what this Fund is and why it is important for everyone in the South Mountain landscape.
Update on the Dillsburg Heart & Soul Project: local partners and the Orton Foundation Coach will share what’s new with the Project.
Update on the South Mountain Trolley Greenway: This potential rail-trail could once again connect Dillsburg and Mechanicsburg – hear updates from the local trail advocate.
