Kick off the New Year with a first day hike at Michaux State Forest. We will catch views of Long Pine Run Reservoir as we walk along the Beaver Trail. The trail is reasonably flat and moderate in difficulty with rocks and exposed roots in areas. This trail is NOT wheelchair or stroller friendly. We will meet at  the Target Range parking area at 150 Birch Run Road, Fayetteville, PA 17257 (39.945712, -77.451122).
Cell phone service can be unreliable throughout the forest, so please plan accordingly.
