EXPLORE! Painting with Nature

This is the second in our series of four new fall outdoor adventure programs in October.
Designed for kids in grades K to 5, EXPLORE! programs will run on four Thursdays, October 3, 10, 17, and 24.
Sessions are after school, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Pine Hill Recreation Area in Waynesboro, Pa.
All program activities are outside, and each week features a different theme. Taught by educators from Buttonwood Nature Center, home of The Institute, programs include educational activities related to the season and theme. Students may attend any or all sessions.
Nature is beautiful to look at, but did you know it can also be used to create beautiful artwork?
We will go on a hike to find natural items that we will then use to make art. The only catch—no paintbrushes!
