The presenters will be John Hyche, Brennan Walters, and Seth Tinkham with the NPS’s State, Tribal, and Local Plans & Grants (STLPG) Division.
The STLPG Division provides preservation assistance through a number of programs that support the preservation of America’s historic places and diverse history. Join us to learn how Federal grants to states, tribes, and local governments fund repair and rehabilitation work on historic structures; conservation projects for nationally significant collections; fieldwork to record oral histories and cultural practices; and research to highlight underrepresented communities in the National Register of Historic Places. You’ll also discover tools to connect gateway communities with nearby parks using preservation planning and see how these connections can benefit both the NPS and local townships.
