Please join us for the Creek Defenders Final Recommendation of where further testing and monitoring should occur in the Conodoguinet Creek watershed.

Little is known about the location and accumulation of emerging contaminants and their environmental and human health harms.  These synthetic or naturally occurring chemicals or microorganisms are not commonly monitored in the environment but can potentially enter the environment and cause known or suspected adverse ecological and/or human health effects. Many of these compounds are not tested for in municipal water system, air, surface water, or food.
