In partnership with Michaux State Forest, the Adams County Office of Planning and Development, the Land Conservancy of Adams County, and Penn Trails, Inc., Strawberry Hill Nature Preserve completed a feasibility study for a proposed trail connection from Hamiltonban Township into the Glatfelter Tree Farm tract of Michaux State Forest. This proposed trail connection is a regional connector as identified by the Adams County Greenways Plan. The project resulted in a multi-use trail feasibility/alignment study that inventoried and prioritized existing trails and outlined design needs for creating a connected trail system.
